Indian wedding are verry bright events filld with retual and celebration that contnue for several days. They are small affairs, offer with 400-1000 people attending 'Many of whome are unknown to the Bride and Groom' Thaugh most marriages are arranged by Parrents both side.  some couples in urban areas have love marriages. 

The true Indian weddings are about to familiars getting wedded socially with much less emphasis on the individuals involved. Punjabi Wedding traditions vary across religion, caste, ethnicity, language, region, etc. 

Traditional Indian Punlabi weddings are generally structured into pre-wedding ceremonies, wedding day ceremonies (consisting of the Baraat, the Family introduction Breakfast and the Phere Lunch), and the Vidaai.
